| As a central service unit of the ECB, the Library is responsible for providing information services both in conventional and/or electronic form as well as information thereof. Library's information services support all ECB units in pursuing their respective tasks. Furthermore it is responsible for the management and maintenance of electronic reference systems to internal and external commercially marketed information sources. The Library holds the central procurement for published information both printed and electronic (in the form of databases, CD-ROMs, diskettes, Internet push and pull services), as well as the contracting of site licences for electronic information services. The Library acts as the depository for ECB publications |
